I find it difficult to know what to do sometimes and was nervous about the notion of self-supported studying. So far it’s been alright. I am lucky to have made some friends on my course, even though it’s online, and they have been helpful with advice and motivation.
I have also been making use of the previous study blocks, going through each week of each module and looking at my current project from every angle. I thought it may be easier to get an idea of which genre, themes and tone I want to use in my series by analyzing some of my influences and examples. I’ve looked at Utopia, Alphas, The Magicians and Misfits.
I have a better idea of what I do and don’t want to include in The PNDs. I shall post the analyses’ here soon.
