This is it, the culmination of all the work done so far, everything we’ve learnt shall influence us as we create our final project.
I have decided to use the story I imagined a few years ago. The concept involved people with mental health issues getting ironic powers after a virus affects the brains of those with mass amounts of anxiety. The characters would have to work through their issues to gain control of their powers and be able to help others.
When I came to look at this idea again in September, there were a few natural changes, including the elements of neuro-diversity that I wanted to involve since being diagnosed with ADHD. The world has changed a lot in the last few years and many more people I know are being diagnosed with different types of neuro-diversity, so I’d like to explore the amount of the population that counts as neuro-diverse now and what that amount actually could be.
When term began we were given a week to write a positioning statement, I shall add this to the next blog post.
